IDASWIND since 1999
IDASWIND is an independent engineering company with more than 25 years of experience across the entire wind-turbine life cycle.
Since our foundation in 1999, our roots have been in the development and design of complete wind turbines and their components. More than 6,000 turbines based on IDASWIND developments and designs have been installed worldwide. This experience continues to shape our work on load assumptions, structures and turbine behaviour.
Since 2016, we have applied this development expertise specifically to safe and economical continued operation. More than 1,700 load comparisons covering around 180 turbine types provide a sound basis for early indications, analytical assessments and informed decisions on remaining service life.
In 2026, site suitability assessments and investigations into sound, shadow flicker and ice extended our portfolio. We combine technical heritage, site-specific calculations and permitting requirements in one coherent engineering service.
